The beginnings: the bar as a meeting point (1984-1985)
In 1984 we opened a small bar, heir to the old cooperative shop and café, which became a meeting point for the locals. The workers in the area ate what Grandma Maria cooked with the same affection she did for her own family. In 1985, we expanded with a small grocery, cold cuts, fruit and vegetable shop, strengthening the bond with the community.
Growth and first meals (1990)
In 1990 we took a step forward with the opening of the downstairs dining room, expanding the space to offer breakfasts and lunches to workers in the area. Our cuisine, based on homemade recipes and local products, began to gain popularity.
Transformation and new spaces (1996-1997)
The years 1996 and 1997 marked a major transformation. The bar was renovated, integrating the shop into a new, more functional space. In addition, the upstairs dining room was inaugurated, expanding the restaurant's capacity. The first celebration in this new space was a baptism, marking the beginning of a new era where meals and family gatherings gained even more prominence.
Improvements and expansion of services (2004-2009)
In 2004, a major renovation was carried out in the kitchen, expanding the space and improving the facilities to offer better service. A few years later, in 2009, the project took a major leap forward with the construction of an apart-hotel next to the bar-restaurant, thus expanding the offer with accommodation and consolidating the business as a point of reference for guests and diners.
Renewal and evolution (2020-2024)
In 2020, the store moved to a more modern space, becoming an agroshop that values local and local products. In 2024, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the opening, a complete reform of the bar and lower dining room was carried out to offer a warmer and more welcoming atmosphere, adapting it to the new needs of customers and maintaining the family essence that has always characterized us.
